Yesterday I went to the Marc O’Polo store opening in Groningen, a Dutch city I live nearby. It’s not that often that I visit any events that are not hosted in Amsterdam, so it was great to have some fun closer to home sometimes.

The Marc O’Polo store is absolutely beautiful and amazingly decorated. The store is not that big, but has definitely a great selection of clothing for women and men. Personally, I don’t feel connected to all of their items, but I’ve sure seen some perfect basic items – especially loved their jackets – at the menswear department.

Today I went to the Rembrandt Tower Boardroom for Matinique’s collection presentation followed by a delicious champagne brunch. The collection that was showed this morning was their new X collection, which is a new Matinique line, containing more detailed and exclusive items.

The new collection is a little more expensive then their regular line, but is still accessible because of it’s good price range. The collection will be in stores around August this year and will be sold online too.
